Our desire is to bring the Polytechnic closer to the outside world and to create the opportunity for closer collaboration with institutions, organisations and agencies for our mutual benefit. The Polytechnic’s Vision is to become a leading Polytechnic in Ghana that offers high quality career-oriented technological and professional education for national development. In the light of this, we put emphasis on entrepreneurial skills and hands-on training which are highly sought after in today’s world of work.

Indeed, our solid training processes enable our graduands to comfortably secure employment in both industry and commerce, and these cover telecommunications, manufacturing, mining, finance and banking, tourism and hospitality services. 

We have a dream to extend academic and professional education to people through distance education and the Polytechnic web portal is positioned to accelerate information and knowledge dissemination in this enterprise. We offer Pre-HND or Access programmes to HND, HND in Engineering, Business, Applied Sciences and Arts, and now B.Tech in Building Technology. 

In the very foreseeable future, the Polytechnic would run degree programmes in Statistics/Mathematics and Computer Science, Hotel Catering and Institutional Management, Engineering, Secretaryship and Management Studies. Ultimately, we shall introduce M.Tech degree programmes in relevant courses as we strive to achieve academic excellence. 

The portal services would help students to access academic information from their departments, online-library, lecture notes and examination results. Also online-registration and payment of fees would be effected. Prospective students can also process their admissions form on-line. We have a dream.
